VOTE ADRIENNE DAVIS

FOR

CHARLES COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read about my campaign to become a Circuit Court Judge in Charles County, Maryland.  Your support means a great deal to me.  My campaign theme is:  “Experience You Can Count On.”

You may already know about my background.  However, if you don’t, I have listed some facts about my qualifications to become a judge. Here’s how I have “Experience You Can Count On". . .

  • I have 25 Years of Trial Experience in the State of Maryland

  • I am licensed to Practice Law in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

  • I have experience practicing law in the following areas: Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, Juvenile Law, Administrative Law, Wills, Power of Attorney, Advance Directives, Appellate Law and Contracts

  • I have 17 years of Mediation Experience

  • I am trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution - 17 years as a mediator and settlement conference facilitator (including family law disputes

  • Dedicated Church Volunteer, Community Leader & Business Owner

Let’s address ways that I could serve the Court.    Should I be fortunate to be elected by the Citizens of Charles County, I would have the below priorities:

  • I will always strive for fairness.

  • I will work diligently to reduce the recidivism rate among our juveniles.  Juveniles who are involved “in the system” would be assigned mentors in order for them to get on track and lead a positive and productive life.

  • I will assist with establishing an Adult Drug Court for those who commit minor drug offenses. These individuals would be encouraged to enroll in a program where they can get alcohol and/or drug treatment, as well as other necessities, to live a positive and productive life.

  • I will find additional ways to incorporate mediation in the judicial process.

Again, thank you for your continued support.
